Dr. Debajyoti Konar
MBBS, DMRT, MD (General Medicine)
Dr. Debajyoti Konat is specialized in Consultant Internal medicine with over 30 years of experience in this field.
He completed his MBBS from R G Kar Medical College and Hospital in 1985, a Diploma in Medical Radiotherapy from Calcutta Medical College in 1989, and an MD in General Medicine from the University College of Medicine (Calcutta University) in 1992. He did a one-year Housejobship in Medicine and six months Housejobship in Neuromedicine.
He resigned from WBHS in 1994 to join ESI Corporation (Under the Ministry of Labor, Central GOVT). From 1994 to 1995 he was posted in ESIC model hospital, Noida UP, from 1995 to 2010 he was posted in ESIC Hospital and ODC (Occupational Disease Center) JOKA, Kolkata as a specialist and HOD of Medicine, from 2010 to 2013 he was posted at ESIC Model Hospital Beltala, Guwahati, Assam. He took his voluntary retirement on 1/8/2013.
Presently attached with Chamok Hospital. Kaikhali, DM Hospitals, Behala, Apex Institute of Medical Sciences, EM Bypass, EKO HCG Hospital, and Newtown, as a visiting Consultant.
Since his internship, he worked under the able guidance of Renowned Specialists in the Medical fraternity and attended many National and Regional conferences on Medicine, Cardiology, Radiodiagnosis, and Oncology Pulmonology. Gastroenterology, Critical care, etc.
As Specialists and HOD of Medicine individually have taken the responsibility for thousands of patients attending a 300 bedded hospital. Active participation in the building up of a HOSPITAL from inception to 300 bedded hospital. Actively associated with the ISO Certification & I C R A rating processes of the ESIC Hosp. & ODC (EZ) Joka, Kolkata. Presently attending patients at his personal chambers and Hospitals with a reputation.
